Richard Mosse is an Irish photographer challenging documentary photography. These pictures here come from his ‘Infra’ series, shot using infrared film during his journey through Congo. The Aerochrome film renders all greens as pink. Infrared light is invisible to the human eye so in some ways he says it was like shooting blind, but the nature of the film was that it would reveal the invisible.
